MUA Make Up Review

I have another review for you today on one of my favourite make up brands, MUA!

I’m reviewing the new improved trio baked eye shadows and lipstick trios, let’s get on with the review :)

I love how MUA have put together shades that work well together so you can create a look from each trio.

I’m also super impressed with how pigmented these trios are. I’ve tried both the eye shadows and the lip glosses. I love the colours and I love how they last all day.

The lip glosses are so pretty and have a really nice creamy texture. You can go for a bright red lip or a more natural colour. My favourite lip gloss trio is ‘Temptress’  I love the different shades of red in one trio so it’s like carrying round 3 lipsticks in one small case!

The eye shadows are so easy to blend and do so beautifully. You can create a smoky evening look or a natural shimmery day time look, perfect for summer! This eye shadow lasts all day without creasing!

Packaging:

These trios come in a small round plastic case with a sponge applicator. These eye shadows are perfect for if you’re travelling and want to touch up your make up on the way as they would easily fit into the smallest of pockets/bags. On the back you will find a little step by step guide on how you could wear the shades which is really helpful.

Price:

These trios are such a bargain! The eye shadows are £3 each and the lipgloss trios are £2.50 each.

Overall:

I’m so happy with these trios, I am going to be buying them in the other shades available! I would definitely recommend these trios to a friend.  I can’t wait to try out different looks with these trios and see what I can create :)

Mua Cosmetics Review

I’m so in love with my latest collection of makeup from MuaCosmetics, I’ve been really looking forward to trying out the new undress your skin range and I wasn’t disappointed!

Undress Your Skin Illuminating Foundation:

I’m so impressed with this foundation; the coverage is very good and gave my skin a gorgeous glow. The lasting power is also very good, my foundation lasted all day and night until I took off my make up before bed. I also loved the color, I have it in beige and ive never had a foundation match my skin tone so well! I will definitely be purchasing this again, I’m so pleased with it. Usually cheaper foundations can look orange but this isn’t the case with the undress your skin foundation. I absolutely love it!!

I love this highlighter! it adds a really nice glow to the skin, its nice and subtle. i'll be using this for my wedding! i've been looking for the perfect powder highlighter and I've found it :)

This primer by Mua is amazing at creating the perfect make up base. Any fine lines, pores or imperfections are reduced leaving perfectly soft smooth skin. It's so easy to get perfectly smooth skin with this product.Not only does it create the perfect base, it also helps make up last! it doesn't make skin greasy like some primers so its perfect for all skin types.

This lipgloss is so SO pretty and very glossy. The shade I have is 'kiss and tell' These lipglosses are highly pigmented and the colors are so pretty! at £2 they're a bargain! i'll be buying these in every shade!

Shimmer Kisses Blusher

This is such a pretty blusher. it doesn't overwhelm the face with pink like some blushers. It adds a gorgeous subtle color to your cheeks with a nice natural looking glow.

Blush Perfection Cream Blusher

I don't usually use cream blushers but i've been converted! this cream blush is such a pretty color and i love the creamy texture, its so easy to apply and I love the natural rosy cheek look it gives.I tempted to buy this blush in all the different shades.

Mua Magnetic Nails

I'm so impressed with the Mua magnetic nails! The effect is gorgeous! it's so easy to apply. Just apply 1 coat to all nails then once the 1st coat has dried, apply another coat but as you paint each nail, hover the magnet which is in the lid over each nail for 5 seconds and you'll get this really pretty squiggly pattern! I love it!!

Vivo Cosmetics Review

In this review I’m going to be reviewing some Vivo Cosmetics. I’m so excited to have tried some make up by Vivo. You can buy Vivo products in Tesco Extra stores & as my local tesco isn’t a tesco extra I never get to look at the products.

So let’s get on with the review…

Perfect Skin Primer*:

I love this primer, it’s a fantastic product for helping your make up stay in place. It makes my skin feel so soft and the perfect base for foundation which I find applies way better using the perfect skin primer.

Gel Eyeliner*:

“These gel liners are very pigmented and are available in 3 classic shades - black, grey and brown. Completely smudgeproof so will not budge all day, and there is a very handy little brush applicator hidden in the lid so you will no longer be searching for a brush!”

This is a really great eyeliner, it glides easily onto the skin in one smooth motion to create perfect lines. It’s really pigmented and comes in 3 beautiful shades. This shade is “Brown Sugars”

Colourwash gloss*:

I was amazed at how massive the bronzer was! It’s a stunning colour and its shimmery and looks so pretty & I love that you can use it all over your body. It’ll look perfect for all those Christmas parties :) this bronzer comes in 2 shades, the shade I have “Golden Days” & “Gold Dust”

Cream Blush*:

“Glides and blends easily for a natural flush on your cheeks”

I love cream blushes. I find they look so gorgeous and give you a natural glow and I find they last longer than powder blushes. This cream blush blends easily into the skin and comes in 3 gorgeous shades “Bloom” “Pink Glow” & “Flush”

FashionistA Cosmetics make up review

I was recently introduced to FashionistA cosmetics a few weeks ago. I have 2 eye shadows, 2 blushes, 4 bronzers, eyebrow kit and mascara. I’m so impressed with how expensive and high end it feels for a very affordable price!

The packaging is very classy with an expensive high end feel. They do customisable palettes so you can choose what you want in your palette, you just buy the single bronzers/eye shadows/blushes and they pop out and you can place them in the palette which is so handy if you’re on the go, you can have your favourite eye shadow, blush, and bronzer in one place. This will be super handy when I’m travelling abroad by plane! It’s so compact and sleek and it looks very glamorous. There’s a large mirror inside the lid so you can literally touch up your make up on the go :)

I absolutely love these eye shadows! They create a really nice look. The merged colours create an eye look with different tones. 

The two eye shadows I have are in ‘Stylish’ & ‘Fashion House’. Fashion House creates a gorgeous black smoky colour with a gorgeous shimmery tone. Stylish is a really pretty gold/bronze colour. I blended both fashion house and stylish together for a smokey look.

These eye shadows are brilliant and apply and blend really well. I will definitely be purchasing more colours!!

Mono Blushes & bronzers*

I’m so impressed by these mono blushes and bronzers, My skin looks glowing after I’ve applied the blush and bronzer. These work great for a night look. I apply bronzer first and I apply it to my cheeks and bring it round the temples onto the forehead and down my nose for a natural looking bronzed look, don’t forget to add a bit of bronzer to your chin. If I do not want the bronzed look, I apply a bit of blush to the apples of my cheeks and it really does look amazing!

I have the mono blushes in colours ‘New York’ & ‘Milan ‘and I have the mono bronzers in colours ‘Dubai’ & ‘Rome’ as you can see, they are named after the fashion capitals round the world! Such a great idea!

Dubai is a gold/bronze colour compared to Rome which is more of a browny bronzer colour.

Milan & New York are very similar in colour but Milan is a slightly darker pink where as New York is a lighter pink colour.

 Matte bronzers*

 “Contour for a defined face shape or blend for a natural-looking touch of warmth”

For a natural looking bronzed look I use the matte bronzers. These are matte with no shimmery/high lighting tones. Again, I apply it on my cheek bones, around the temples and across my forehead and down my nose, don’t forget the chin. Both the Mono & matte bronzers are highly pigmented so you don’t need a lot on your brush. I love these matte bronzers, I usually use these for my day make up and if I’m going out in the evening I use the mono bronzers/blush.

'Tokyo'

'Paris'

I have the matte bronzers in colours ‘Paris’ & ‘Tokyo’ when you look at both of them, they look very similar in colour but when you’re wearing them you can tell the difference. ‘Tokyo is a darker colour compared to Paris, it depends on how bronzed you want to look.

The Double Collection Mascara*

I LOVE this mascara!! It creates gorgeous long lashes without the clumps! First you apply the white side, the serum to keep your lashes healthy, wait a few seconds for it to dry then apply the mascara ensuring you cover all the white bits! The end result? Amazing eye catching lashes :)

Style brows kit*

I spend  a lot of time making sure my eyebrows are neat and tidy. I love this eye brow kit, I love defined brows, it really frames the eyes. This brow kit is perfect and even comes with gel to keep your brows in place. I love that it includes small tweezers, a complete kit to keep your eyebrows looking perfect. Just choose the shade and blend the colour into the brow using the small brush, you can create full defined brows or small and neat brows, depending on the type of person you are. I’ve been using it for a few weeks now and I’m very impressed, I take it everywhere with me.
